Notes: Amboyna burl is one of the rarest woods, from southeast asia. It is called the “burl with the swirl” for its amazing swirling grain patterns of red and cream. In the past, Amboyna Burl was used for Rolls Royce dashboards. Most Amboyna Burl is reddish…but the most highly sought-after part of the burl is the transition from the red heartwood to the creamy sapwood. The UniPlinth is a unique, one-piece square plinth design.
